In The #29ERS Show Episode 20: Seasonal Campaigns Drive Results, clients begin to think about Christmas; we’re out on location with Beatson Cancer Charity on a festive shoot with them, and we announce a festive project with Edinburgh Airport. We also talk storyboards and visual effects with Siobhan for a project with Aurum Biosciences, Brownings The Bakers gives us great feedback on their movie, and we celebrate another birthday as Gary turns 21 for the 19th time.
Beatson Bauble Seasonal Campaign
The Beatson Cancer Charity supports people who have cancer, and their families too. We at 29studios are proud to have been working with the charity for the past two years, and in this episode we go behind-the-scenes on our latest shoot for the Beatson’s seasonal campaign.
We join Laura (project manager) and Martin (filmmaker / elf) at St Andrew’s in the Square in Glasgow for a film shoot that will make you feel a warm Christmassy glow – mostly fuelled by an absolutely amazing Christmas tree provided by Ambius UK.
Jame Twohig from Beatson also makes an appearance and reminds us how we can get in touch to help support the great work Beatson do.
We’ve been lucky enough to work with the fantastic team at Brownings the Bakers. In Episode 19 we got a glimpse behind the scenes as Al, Richi and Jake were on location at Brownings in Kilmarnock, and now we’ve got a preview to show the Managing Director at Brownings – John Gall.
John came into our Pirate Bar where we host training events, premieres – and the odd party – to see the movie for the first time, and he loved it. To quote the man himself:
“Brilliant! Can’t believe it! It’s the first time I’ve seen my new video and I’m chuffed to bits!”
So are we, John!
Visual Effects And Aurum Biosciences
Our resident VFX guru Siobhan has been working on storyboards for an exciting new project for Aurum Biosciences. Aurum Biosciences is a biopharmaceutical company developing novel oxygen carriers and proprietary software for use with MRI, and we are working closely with them to create new content for their product range.
Laura and Siobhan meet the team at Aurum and work through the storyboards and scripts, refining the messages and the visuals for each scene. We frequently work with clients on projects that need to communicate a lot of technical information, and we pride ourselves on our skill in creating easy-to-understand content that combines simplicity with a powerful and informative message
After the meeting, Laura and Siobhan will iterate both the script and visuals before moving on to create the content for the team at Aurum.
Edinburgh Airport Seasonal Campaign
29studios are happy to announce that we will be working with Edinburgh Airport on their seasonal campaign this festive period!
Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s busiest airport with over 11.1 million passengers travelling through it in 2015, and 29studios are excited to be working with the airport for the second time this year.
We previously collaborated on the Street Soccer Scotland movie for the Scotland team playing at the Homeless World Cup in Scotland. In that movie, we featured the team arriving at Edinburgh Airport and we showcased different locations in and around the complex – including out on the tarmac airside!.
It’s that time of year, and with organisations such as Edinburgh Airport and Beatson creating their festive campaigns, it really is time to plan for your winter campaign. If you are interested in creating a video campaign, head over to our Video Campaigns page to find out more.
